Why David Sedaris Hates America's Favorite Word, "Awesome" | Open Culture: David Sedaris has made his name as a humorist, noting the absurdities of everything from life with his parents and siblings to the perpetual cycle of world travel and book-signing into which fame has launched him.

Who is Thomas Pitre

Retired educator and trainer, having worked in adult ed., private vocational ed, community colleges, colleges and university environments lecturing, developing and writing curricula and delivering on-line training in a variety of subjects.

Tom has a B.F.A., M.A. and Ph.D. His undergraduate work was in English, Education, Fine Art and Art History.

Tom lives quietly, with the memory of his dogs, electronics and graphics tablet in Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula.
