Royalties

Read this today: Hardcover book: Standard is 10% of the retail price on the first 5,000 copies sold; 12 1/2% on the next 5,000 sold, and 15% after that.
Mass market paperback book: 4 to 8% of the retail price on the first 150,000 copies sold. Trade paperback book: No less than 6% of the list price on the first 20,000 copies; 7 1/2% after that.

Who is Thomas Pitre

Retired educator and trainer, having worked in adult ed., private vocational ed, community colleges, colleges and university environments lecturing, developing and writing curricula and delivering on-line training in a variety of subjects.

Tom has a B.F.A., M.A. and Ph.D. His undergraduate work was in English, Education, Fine Art and Art History.
