Speculative fiction is an umbrella term encompassing the more fantastical fiction genres, specifically science fiction, fantasy, horror, weird fiction, supernatural fiction, superhero fiction, utopian and dystopian fiction, apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, and alternate history in literature as well as related static, motion, and virtual arts.^[1]

Who is Thomas Pitre

Retired educator and trainer, having worked in adult ed., private vocational ed, community colleges, colleges and university environments lecturing, developing and writing curricula and delivering on-line training in a variety of subjects.

Tom has a B.F.A., M.A. and Ph.D. His undergraduate work was in English, Education, Fine Art and Art History.
